Literacy Backpacks

Each colorful backpacks includes 7 reality based poem story board books and a gently animated interactive read along video that brings the wonderful words and characters of each story to life.

These interactive literacy backpack sets teach an array of skills including reading progression and rhyming patterns.  Utilizing the interactive video, children learn to follow as pages turn from right to left, the words are highlighted as read from left to right, up and down, and the rhyming words flash a different color for early word recognition/sight words.

The back of each story book highlights the book's character education theme and provides a lesson with discussion questions and activities for the parents and the children to enjoy together.

Each set also contains a 7-inch character hand puppet.
